You don't have to mold jack to get a widebody on.

Power drill + Pop rivet gun = Widebody on.

It ain't gonna be OMG SHOWCAR PRETTY, but if you wanted to do flares for a car that does more than gets rubbed down with a diaper, that's how you do it.

sure it will.... a little bondo here and their and wham its pretty

Well, some of us are too lazy for bondo... ;)

Plus rivets look tuff!

If you are gonna do somethign why do it half ass... The kit will rub if it isnt molded on because unlike the qu wheels u get full rear fenders that stick out 3 inches not just flares.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

Road racers for YEARS have been pop-riveting wider body panels to the stock body.

Molding is just there to make it look pretty for the show-ho to rub her butt against.

Well if you did, it would look exactly like that...:thumb:

I mean, talk about the word "ricer"....when I think of the word that kit immediatley pops into my head. That kit must weigh 3x what the stock parts weigh and with all those unecessary bumps, bulges, and fake vents the thing must be as aerodynamic as a semi truck.

Everyone has their own tastes...mine just prefer sticking with a kit that somewhat replicates and enhances the natural curves and lines that make the 2G so sharp.

so you really think molding a fiberglass panel to a metal fender is going to hold better than pop riveting it then bondo-ing it after wards?

why pay to get a body kit if you are gonna f*ck it up when you put it on..... Ill neva understand why anyone does anyhtign half ass... But like i said before i dotn care its ur car...... Just dotn call em out sayign i dotn know what im tlaking about when i would pay to get it done right then half ass it.......

haha, i was readig about wide body kits and supra tails, but this kit was fuken badass imo, was the front custom made to fit that kit or does it come like that?

The kit is a quwhees widebody kit molded on to a blitz kit. I did all the custom work myself. The hardest part was trying to get the two front pieces of the quwhees kit to fit on the blitz front bumper. I would post some more pictures but i hit a ####in deer on the way to the track.

see i just dont like that kit, i think it looks like sh!t, their hasnt been one that i liked, and the blue quehwee's that was posted earlier, i actually like that hood, i think it complements the headlights well, i just wish they made it in carbon :|...

damn ive been looking for something like for a while. the reason i asked.well when i bought my car back 06 there was a wide body kit on it already. now i loved the way i looked and it was rare. but i did buy it because it had a sweet body kit on it i bought because it was a gsx and it only had 64k miles. rare too. but then found out that the guys friends had put on the body kit and did not prep it right underneath the kit so it got all rusty on the surface beneath it. so when my tranny went out a couple of months ago i decided that i was redo all of it. so i took off the whole body kit already. now im planning to everything like build my 6 bolt engine and tranny and make some mad power including an awesome paintjob with the body kit or not. the other week i decided that i was going to stock all around but then i see pics of my car the way it was and it looks sick. if i had it like that again itll be sweet and powerfull. here is my car on cardomain. i dont know what i should do put it back on or leave it off.Alex's 98 GSX !!!!!!!Wide body kit FOR SALE!!!!!!!! - Oak Harbor, Washington

i also like some of the photoshop pics on the other thread.

I heard that the installation of that kit makes your vision get all blurry like paul walker in the fast and the furious. Id be careful-that just cant be safe....
