I have a 92 laser awd. I am looking for a widebody kit but am having no luck finding one. I did a search and a few of the threads gave some websites, but none of them had widebody kits. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

nope, and for good reason. leave the body the way it is. if anything..toss some fender flares o n and run some real aggressive wheels

I don't want fender flares. I like the look of actual widebody kits. It just looks like I might have to make my own when it gets warm again.

I've tossed around the idea of going nuts fabricating a wide-bodied package for 1Gb DSMs based on the packages once available for FC-chassis Mazda Rx7s.

Case in point, the Mariah Motorsports Mode Six Package:

My design is simple for the fronts - split the top of each front fender, and add material to allow it to sit further away from the unibody. The signature door-gap is present as with many JGTC/Super-GT style bodies, while still mostly keeping stock bodylines.

The theme continues to the rear, with a mimic of the rear flanks added to the car, in much the same manner as the fronts. This leaves the air-gap and box-end look that is again reminiscent of JGTC/Super-GT cars, while still keeping traditional DSM bodylines.

I'll draw up some sketches to relay my thoughts better.

Here's a quick sketch of my general idea, in a couple views.

This design is basically adding two to three inches of width on either side, allowing for wide wheels with low offset resulting in a larger track width.

Sketches of the rear will come soon.
