Found a decent widebody kit!

its been around for a long time now and its made to fit with any front bumper so you can keep your stock front if you want to.
Search for " NSX " wich its called as well after the Accura NSX they copied it from.

Nice! Not sure if I like the exhaust slots/squares on the rear. It does look alot better than the Quhees kit, with the little circle vents on the sides :barf:

I like it alot just dont put any of those rediculous wings on the car, kit defintly looks nice if i had a 2g i would most deifntly consider

I don't actually plan on getting a kit, just like seeing what is around.. Just as I have said before appearance wise... converting my talon to a 97-99 wingless eclipse ;)

I have had that kit for a year now. I like it it isn't that bad for a bolt up kit. The only thing that sucked was the riviting part. I have a bomex front bumper and a Bomer rear bumper.

Any idea if this will fit a 97 spyder? It sort of looks like it goes up the rear sail window. Also does anyone know the price on this kit?

The central issue when considering a widebody kit, in my opinion, is the rims and tires. There is nothing worse than seeing a widebody kit on a car, with tires that sit 3" inside the fender. Even a lot of aftermarket rims (say, 17x7.5, or even 18 x 8.5) are just not thick enough to look good on a widebody. Eclipses have huge wheel wells to begin with. Just make sure that you know what spacer and rim/tire combination you need to run in order to fully fill in that widebody. Otherwise, it will end up looking like a nasty, half-hearted attempt to make the car look more "aggressive". Just my two cents. :rocks:

that kit has been around for awhile.... it lets you use whatever front and rear bumper you want which is different, but that kit looks like ass unless you mold everything together, those hard body lines where the fenders meet the stock panals look terrbile if not smoothed over, with some serious body work that kit can look great, but not just slapped on there.

Well, I guess I will get it. I am going to Wyotech next year after my fiance graduates. I'll probably put it on while I am down there. I am thinking either.. Full eclipse conversion (wingless) with the widebody. Also, possibly, 97-98 Talon front with the 97-99 Eclipse rear along with the widebody (also wingless).

Opinions?

wingless is the way to go, and i would go with the stock 2gb front bumper with that kit, a "stock" widebody would probably be the best kit ever made if it exsisted. just make sure everything is molded together, dont leave the lines where the fenders meet the sotck body panals.

I actually have 17x7.5 and tell you truthly the kit is not as wide as the GTP and you can really get away with a lot on this one. The only thing I really dislike on the whole kit is the way the front fenders slant out so you can interchange front bumpers on it. I am actually fixing that by fiberglassing and molding the front bumper to the fender. Like I said before I like this kit a lot :thumb:

When do u start at Wyotech exactly? Word of advice - if you were considering taking ASM here, DON'T DO IT!! I'm actually sitting in lab here right now. I gotta tell you, it's a total waste of $8K and 3 months of your life. Believe me. Anyway, I'm waiting to get in the shop to do some body kit work myself. (Sorry to get off topic, just felt the need to share that.) :rocks: (I love that smiley.)
