Sup guys?! Long time lurker. First time poster!
I have a 91 GSX 5 speed.. 110k miles. Pretty much unmodded besides the "freebies", cat back exhaust, blah blah..
I'm ready to start designing a build for my car.
I don't have a "goal hp number" per say, but want to come close to maxing out current components before taking the next step of replacing them, like injectors and the turbo... and then retune, to come close to maxing those out.
And I'd like to do as much as possible without taking the head off, then maybe build that in the end.
Basically, a continual build of sorts, haha!
So I want to know the limitations of the following stock mechanical components if anyone knows.
( Please also discuss more in depth if you like! )
Max HP the following can support/hold and/or not break:
Injectors?
14B Turbo HP and/or efficient PSI?
Transmission?
Clutch?
Axles?
Unsealed stock engine?
Stock 1G/2G exhaust manifold?
Stock head?
Stock cams?
Stock bottom end?
And while we're at it, what your choice of ECU?
