I have a 1990 Eclipse GST and when flooring the car it hits what feels like fuel cut at the top of the RPM range. If I give it 3/4 gas it pulls good and it doesnt happen. The car runs great besides that. I dont think its a boost leak I have 20 in of vacuum at idle. The car has a 3" intake pipe, K&N filter, 3" downpipe, 3" exhaust and test pipe, and autometer boost gauge. The car is running stock boost.
Could the problem be the stock fuel system with the exhaust upgrades? I'm looking at selling the car because I need a 4 door and I'd like to fix the problem for whoever buys the car. Thanks for any help.
