GS to GS-T!!! NEED SOME HELP!

Well my buddy just picked up a 93 eclipse GS and he also just picked up a stock side mount intercooler, bov, stock turbo manifold, and turbo from a stock turboed eclipse im guessing a gs-t model or whatever. I dont know much about dsm's. Im a honda guy. Well he wants to put it all in soon and i can do all of that for him but for fuel managment im lossed? Would he need a new fuel pump or is the stock one good for it. I know he will need to get the dsm 450s. Is the gs-t's ecu a direct replacement for the gs, or what?? BTW: what kind of boost do the gs-t's push stock??? What do i do for oil lines too??

It would be best if you ask your questions in the 2g n/t bolt-on forum section of this site. Since I don't have experience with the n/a eclipse I'll leave it to the ones that have n/a w/ turbo cars answer your questions. I found this link that'll help you with the install and what you would need:

For boost my gst pushed around 10-12psi stock. Do not attempt to boost that much on the 420a motor w/o upgrading the internals. Your friend should get a logger to monitor the car's stats when everything is installed. Also, don't forget to get a boost gauge and a mbc! Goodluck!

he has a 93,not a 2g.its basically the same as your honda turbo setups.go low boost on a stock engine or itll blow up.ecu is the same,minus the knock sensor and a few other things.you can also do a search here.theres a big article on how to do it.but basically,bolt on would include:turbo w/ oil and water lines,intercooler w/ pipes,fuel pump,390 or 450cc injectors,fuel controller(afc,etc..),turbo oil pan,exhaust manifold,resistor pack for injectors(or use rx7 high impedance injectors),and run all that at 10 psi or less.stock gst's and gsx' run around 12-13 psi.the stock non turbo pistons can take boost,its just the first time it detonates,the ring lands explode.i have around 800 bucks in my swap so far,and that includes a turbo engine i built.

Thanks for the info guys. Ill let you guys know if i have any more questions about this. Looks like were gonna have to be careful with this setup i dont want to be replacing the pistons too on this guys car. Ive destroyed all the ringlands on all of my pistons before in my honda with boost i know how it is .

well i saw the car today for the first time and it has a horrible knock to it! It deffiently sounds like a rod bearing is completly gone! So im probbaly going to take off the oil pan and swap out the bearings for him. Do you guys think the crank journal is going to be damaged at all?? O btw: what is the torque specs for the rod bearing caps? THANKS!
