So i have a 96 gs-t and i had an idea one day to remove my wing... well i strted to do so and noticed the holes where the wing was. and i was like eeeeekk!!!OMG so then i was researching on buying the turbo gsx wing but noticed their was one rite next door to me so i checked it out and that wing would not cover up the holes my old wing had left??... so im stumped. wondering if i hav to go the route of buying a c/f hatch then installing the turbo wing

What?

There will be holes in the rear "quarter" panels left from the three piece wing, which you'll have to have a shop fill and paint for you. New holes will be needed for the turbo wing.

all in all you will have to get something like 14 holes filled and painted. I would highly recommend getting the holes welded, not bondo'd over and then painted. And new holes have to be drilled for the high-rise turbo wing.

wow so its like i got screwed when i bought my gs-t... and i dont think i wnt to go through all that trouble i'd rather spend my money on a set of drag radials:sneaky: how much would all that run me?

The drag radials or the paint & fill? Either way, they both vary.

Just a thought, but I have seen the high rise spoiler swap where they left the low rise spoiler ends on the rear qtr panels.

You could cap the low rise holes in the center for now and drill the rest for the high rise. The high rise spoiler should cover your spoilers original holes.

I only say cap them for now, because your looking for drag radials. Get your holes welded when or if you have some other body work to be done.

yea, 95 and 96 didn't offer the well known "high turbo spoiler," so if that's what you wanted, you should have held out untill you found one and saved some $$$. If I were you, I'd just leave the low one. If you don't know how to paint, you can still save yourself some money if you puddy the holes and sand them down yourself, and just let the body shop spray it. But be careful if you do this because some credible body shops won't finish a job if it's been started poor. Good luck :dsm:

I am not trying to be mean but, this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Please DO NOT do this. IMO it is flat out cheap and looks hideous. Either cover the holes the right way or don't take the wing off at all.
