The bolts are 8mm X 1.25 I think. Im sure they are 8 not sure on the pitch. Get the OEM gaskets from MITSU they help protect the paint and will keep vibrations down. If you dont use them you the vibrations and moisture over time will start to rust.

IMO dont put it on the talon My 2ga is wingless and I just mocked up a turbo wing and its nasty. Im going to finish the eclipse conversion then have it painted :)

Ok man thanks alot ill look into it the gaskets may be hard as the closest mistu dealer is 2 1/2 hours away from me.Any other options for the gaskets beside the double sided tape??? Not really looking to stick that Sh!t on my car i knosw how that stuff is harder than hell to get off.

hey if you look in classifieds there is a gsx wing for sale

How much is he asking??? I already have the wing i just need to get it sanded and painted to match my car and then mounted. Anyone have any ideas on how to prep this properly so it doesn't look like dookie, i.e what grit sandpaper to start with and what steps to take when, I used to know but it's been awhile.

If its got good paint already i.e not flaking or badly oxidized you can just wetsand it with a scotch brite pad. The finer one. Or use like 400-600 wet sanded. DONT use a DA. It will leave swirleys. Just knock the shine off if the current paint looks good. Thats the best bet.

And for the gasket just use some of the cellulose type gasket. It works or you can use some sort of thin rubber found on the cheap floor mats. Just make stencil and cut out your own.

Hes asking $150.00 and its on ebay so who knows how much its going to sell for. I got mine for $60.00 just depends on where you look ;)

SOMEBODY wanna give me a measurement on where the stock placement of the turbo wing is? measurements maybe? My hatch is 2ga from a talon. I dont want to spend $100 on a different hatch. Or I might depending on how difficult the holes are to weld up.

Ok thanks alot, the paint is in perfect condition so ill pick up a scotch brite pad after work tmrw and then wet sand it, I was gunna go to my local car quest and have them color match the paint but they said that it isn't gunna be a dead on match so im not sure if i want to try that or not.

Thank you guys, that is exactly what i needed. I think it looks good but that may be just me. I feel like my car is a little naked from behind and I've always liked that turbo wing. BTW the one the guy is selling is white, same as my car. What is the part number for the OEM gaskets?

Hey I'm new here an just became a owner of 1995 eclipse gs an it came with the small wing an today I bought a gsx wing at the pick n pull an need help on how to make the holes an line everything up so it looks right

Make a template from the wing and line it up on your trunk, mark and drill the holes. Pretty simple. This pic has the measurements on them from a stock factory installed wing.
