The wing itself has several plastic clips that "slide" onto screws that are sticking out the top of the hatch deck. There are also 2 10mm bolts going up from inside the hatch into the wing. To get to them, open the hatch and remove the peice of plastic that will be above your head kinda now. They are near the back of the car on either side. Yours may be missing because it sounds like those might be the 2 clips that broke. Once they are out the wing can be slid right off the car, might take a little bumping with the palm of your hand to get it "unstuck" from the screws i mentioned above. When my clips broke, I tried glueing them back together (still had the peices) and that worked pretty well. On one of my other cars I went to a dealer and got new ones. It took awhile for them to get them but they worked good to fix the problem. Good luck
