ground clearance

As far as ground clearance goes, it seems most of us want to lower the cars for handling, aerodynamics etc.

However, what about the rally guys who need a little extra room underneath to clear mud snow and the occasional groundhog. So how can you get the most ground clearance on the car? I was thinking about shimming the struts front and rear. Or moving the front strut to the limit of the fork clamp.

Will this throw off tow or camber?

Any suspension adjustment WILL throw off the alignment. If you leave it stock ride height, but change the components, you should have a decent handling car with decent clearance.
