Grinds 1st sometimes and 2nd also?

My first gear grinds sometimes, I have to pull in and out of first to lock into gear. When I go into second, it goes in, then when I let the clutch go it grinds. I just replaced the slave cylinder and master cylinder, what is the problem?

Mine grinds going into first constantly unless I come to a complete stop:thumbdown when i go to shift into second gear, I let the clutch out and it will grind and just wont stay in gear. I think it went in like 2 times only while going really really slow. I dont know if there is any tranny fluid in it since the car has sat since 02. I doubt that would be the problem though. Let me know if you find anything out as it seems we have similar problems.

umm, check tranny fluid and replace it if it hasnt been swapped out with bg syncroshift, syncromesh, or redline mtl tranny fluid ( these are wat dsmers tend to use )

also try adjusting ur clutch pedal if it helps any, it wont hurt trying.
