Ok first the facts:
6k miles new transmission (OEM)
Clutchmaster FX400 4 puck sprung clutch (bout 8k)
Fizanda Lightened flywheel (6 bolt swap)
Brand new Slave Cylinder
SS Clutch Line

Heres the problem:
Im at a stop light (As i mostly am in Vegas) and i slip my stick into 1st and lift the clutch (Gently) and *pop* Neutral. Hmm. Started shifting from 2nd to 1st at stops and only hapens like... 15% of the time. Cool

Next im at a stop light and i go to shift into 2nd *GRIIIIIIIND* "What the f***?"

This has been going on for a couple weeks. Im thinking syncros or badly adjusted clutch/clutch possibly failing.

Input anyone?
 
Adjust your clutch. Your engagement might be off.

Do a syncro test. Get in your driveway in neutral. Crank car. With the car in neutral, and your foot off the clutch, attempt to push the gear selector (shift lever w/e) into each gear. You should notice a small RPM dip as you push it into gear. Make sure to do it very easily with slow constant pressure until you either see an rpm drop, or get close to gear engagement. If you can push it far enough into gear that it grinds, and you dont see any RPM drop, your synchronizers are shot.

Hear is a v-faq on how to adjust a clutch for a 1g. Will look for one for the 2g. It should be similar.

Ok, also, the clutch engages oh.... about 3/4 of an inch from the floor... that normal?

Uh boy. Results for above test:
1st -> Solid, RPMs Dip but no grind
2nd -> Creep, goes past normal gear engagement point and *GRIND*
3rd -> Solid, RPMs Dip but no grind
4th -> Solid, RPMs Dip but no grind
5th -> Solid, RPMs Dip but no grind

So... how much this gonna possibly cost me?
