somi haven’t drove my car in a real long time . One night I finally hit it running and took it for a ride. Everything was good . Next time I go to drive it, huge grinding noise like the starter was grinding the flywheel. Changes the starter. Same noise. Anyone have any ideas?

Ignition switch failure? You can buy a remote trigger for the starter solenoid signal to see if that cures your issue, or just have a test light wired to the small solenoid trigger wire and watch to make sure it stops being illuminated after you release the key from the start position

I sold my gst with a remote start and the new owner reset the system and didn't set the rpm trigger for crank cycle, and it would grindthe starter

The next issue if you've ruled out electrical would be that something fell inside the bell housing, or the flywheel is messed up
