Alright guys I posted a thread like this before but its starting to get worse now. I know you guys told me to replace my ball joints because all of them are torn but damn thats a lot of money and i dont even know how to replace them :p , im hoping theres an article on it?

anyways it grinds when I turn right and accelerate not when I just turn . When I turn with no gas theres no noise. It started to make the same noise when I have 3 people in the car and I accelerate , it makes this horrible grinding noise ( sounds like its coming from the back) Im not sure what it is tho.

You should probably not drive very much until you get the money to replace your ball joints

they dont seem to bad, maybe I can just buy new rubber seals and re-grease?

and nice eclipse btw mine looked JUST like yours but I got pulled over for my tail lights so I painted the middle white and took off the black on the tail light. I think it looks better smoked/blacked good job

Even if they aren't horrible right now you'll just make them progressively worse. It may be a lot of money now but if you keep driving on them and making it worse it will cost you even more money in the end.

Check the rear left tire and see if it is rubbing on anything. Or looks like it will if there is alot of weight in the back of the car. You say when accelerating & turning right so that means rear left. Check it out and see what you find.

Like interex, I am leaning toward the wheel bearing.

Your ball joints had torn boots and were losing grease. They have likely already been contaminated, due to the size of the tears and their vicinity to the road. These joints cannot be so simply greased.

When those ball joints fail, you will lose control of your car, as well as cause severe damage to the rest of your suspension and fender.

Thanks, the cops are pretty lenient up here so its not a big deal, but I get pulled over for my tint all the time.

Im kind of thinking that too BUT it never makes a noise when im slowing down or cruising, only when the car pulls hard ( specially uphill ) I might be leaning towards maybe the axle? Idk what do you think?

bet ya 10-1 its your left front wheel bearing........ i wouldnt even had guessed a ball joint, normally you would jack the car up and you would feel playup and down, but if a wheel bearing is bad or loose, you may be feeling that too. So now this is were a second pair of eyes come in handy to look at the underneath while someone is shaking down the front end for you.
