Ok so a few months ago I blew out my clutch when i tried shifting the car without realizing it was out of clutch fluid. I tried shifting until it just grinded and when i realized what the problem was it was too late. I ordered and replaced the clutch filled the lines and it starts runs and shift except there is a loud grinding noise coming from the transmission/clutch area. Some people say i messed up the transmission and others say its either improper clutch alignment or my clutch bearing. Me and my friend put the clutch in and had no issues. A few other problems are when i try shifting into first it is very hard to get it there but shifts fine 2-5. Also grinds and shifts hard on reverse and makes a clunking noise when it does go in gear. Just want some people to shed some light on this so i dont go replacing parts i dont need to replace.

The "clunk" when it goes into gear sounds to me like a clutch adjustment issue. Sounds like the clutch is not fully depressed when it goes in gear so it's partially engaged when the peddle is pressed. Does it release really close to the floor? Dodo you try this Proper Clutch Adjustment - YouTube

And if the noise goes away when you press the clutch that sounds like TOB.

It sounds like intenals of transmission are bad first i would drain the fluid from the tranny into a clean conaltainer and look for metal chunks also after fluid has drained u can inspect drain hole for larger peices that perhaps couldnt drain as stated before maybe the cables are stretched from trying to force it into gear.....in my opinion how cheap and easy are shifter cablee start there it be a shame to change the transmission and it still do it good luck

Just to narrow it down the noise doesnt go away when you push in the clutch does it?

no it keeps grinding. I put some tranny oil since it was low and it dulled the noise but still grinds just not as loud. Also when i try shifting in reverse i press the pedal down all the way to the ground but still gives me a different grind as if it wasnt down all the way followed by a loud clunk when it finally catches the gear...hmm??

You will require a clutch adjustment most likely.
come to a complete stop and put the car into gear and keep clutch in and rev up to 5-7k and if you move it will be the clutch needing adjustment
