I just got a Greddy type s and i will be replacing my rs bov. One quick question the second little nipple? I don’t want to leave it disconnected because I heard it louder with it on I been looking but can find a straight up picture were people spliced in to connect it with no boost spike. I have a hallman mbc? A picture would be appreciated?

just leave it unhooked it wont do anything unless your running really high boost.
Complete opposite, actually.

The quick-release function is to open the valve quicker at low boost, when the pressure in the piping isn't great enough to force the valve open quickly as soon as the throttle plate closes and the engine's on vacuum.

You'd want the quick-release hooked up for low boost, but not for high boost as the pressure in the second chamber would be working against the pressure in the upper chamber that is trying to hold the valve shut.

It serves the same purpose as the Dodge Garage Mod to a 1G BOV.

Mine is capped off and haven't had any issues. Sounds great with a hard intake :)

Crash89 i seen the link before but i dont understand were the T is located at i need a picture?

The bottom fitting needs to be a pressure source, but cannot be a direct supply. You will need to control when the pressure is applied to the bottom nipple.[/QUOTE]

where is this?

RRE I/C Pipe Installation Instructions

GReddy Type S Valve
Install the new bypass valve onto the I/C pipe flange with the gasket supplied with the valve.

The GReddy valve has two fittings for small vacuum lines on it. The top fitting is for the same hose that went to the original stock bypass valve, the hose that goes to the intake manifold. The lower fitting is normally left open. It is a vent for the lower chamber of the valve.

On some cars with large turbos, compressor surge at light throttle lifts can be further reduced by connecting the lower fitting to a pressure source. Typically a fitting is added to an I/C pipe between the turbo outlet and the valve.

i stand corrected this is a copy/past off the link above. i capped mine off to prevent any dust or small objects from getting sucked into port as i live in a very dusty area. im going to leave mine capped off as it has not caused a issue yet i will watch it close to see if it does and remove if needed.
