Greddy Type-RS

Hey. Got a problem here. Just installed a Greddy UICP and LICP and a Injen Cold Air Intake .. Running on Magnecore sparkplugcables on NGK BPR7es and a Greddy Type RS BOV.

When I test drove it yeeterday I couldnt mangage to get a proper boost. Sounds like all air is leaking out before it reaches the turbo so I checked all the connections but couldnt find anything loose.

Please Help me with this problem.

First of all, why exactly is this in 2g n/t bolt on tech? Aside from that, try titling your threads with something relevant to your problem. For instance, "No boost after IC pipe install."

You have a boost leak. Those couplers have to be clamped on pretty tight when they're installed. Otherwise, what happened to you...well, will happen. The pressure of the air is greater than the force holding the clamps on so it leaks out, thus you don't build the proper amount of boost.

The air leaking out before the turbo isn't a problem (the turbo could be open and it would run fine). It's the air after the turbo (the pipes you just changed not the intake).

I assumed by "before the turbo" he meant the IC pipes before the turbo(coming from the intake). It's the only thing that makes sense taking the boost issue into consideration.

Do a boost leak test, that will solve all your problems right there. The leak will probably be in the IC piping because as stated before.

Did you adjust your BOV properly? You should probably check it and see if its set too soft or too hard.

Double check your installation. Check for boost leaks which is what seems to be happening. Know that those mods coming from stock will raise your boost. And Injen doesn't make a "cold air" intake for the 2g turbos.
