I got my type RS bov installed and I'm confused as to wether or not I have it adjusted too soft or what. I turned it about one half to 3 quarter turn towards hard from the stock position it came to me in. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

From what I notice is that me and a few other guys are running ours all the way down pass the Nut. Then we tighten the nut and have no problem with boost holding.

Thanks,
Marcus

I never adjusted mine from the softest position, and it holds 20 pounds fine for me. The only problem I'm having with it is low-boost compressor surge, which will be worked out shortly.

But at the softest level it seems that the BOV would open and leak, not allowing the full amount of boost. Is the boost guage acurate in that manner? If the BOV is letting off early will the boost guage reveal it?

I've had mine spike and leak at 25 pounds or so, and the end result was the valve opening and dropping several pounds of pressure, I thing the gauge read about 7 pounds off, along with the telltale PSSSST, which is easy to hear when you're venting.
