Well I bought a oil pressure guage for my car because when I put in my jdm o so cool motor it didnt have a oil pressure sending unit on it. Not that it was missing but just there wasn't one on. It did have the sending unit for the light. What I did though was I got some fittings and I made it so I can put the idiot light sensor, aftermarket oil pressure guage sending unit and also I picked up the sending unit off my old motor and I connected it to the port on the oil filter housing where the idiot light was on. Was that a good idea or not?

Now this leads to the title of the topic. I was browsing through some old post and I saw someone mention the Greddy Oil filter block adapter for a easier install of your oil pressure guage because it has some ports for guages. On the site it says it goes between the oil filter and the block. So I was then thinking if I got this and put my aftermarket oil pressure guage and also the stock oil pressure sending unit to have both working. But is the greddy unit only be able to used if I relocate the oil filter or can I keep the oil filter in the same spot and just put the unit between the filter and the oil filter housing and hook up my sending units to it for my guages?

* Sorry if the way I tried to describe my question was just to confusing I tried the best I could to describe it.
