well i'm looking at doing and iol cooler for my 7 bolt and dont knoe if i really want to change the housing becasue thats a real pain in the but, so greddy make a kit that works with the 7 bolt but i was wondering how it works so does anyone have it?? i know you can put a new oil filter housing on and buy one for under 200 and be dont installed for 300. but i just want some input on the greddy one?? thanks

well 2 reasons my stock oil cooler is on is leaking so water and iol are mixing and my car runs warm from time to time so and oil cooler will help with the heat and it will fix the oil mixing with water too i belive.

I have a 13 row bling bling Greddy oil cooler on the way (Well, ships on the 30th...).

I plan on taking off my little dinky water cooler (Recirculate the lines) on my 6 bolt and slapping the adapter on. I have yet to hear anything bad about them other than that they're expensive. But hey, working with braided stainless steel sucks!

If your car is running warm, have you made any ducting from the FMIC to the radiator? That's a big thing that most people forget.

no i didnt make any ducting what kind are you talking about and how to make it?

Make some channels that pull cooler air from the front of the car to the space between the intercooler and radiator. Think of it as an intake pipe for your radiator.

Can't you just get a '90 turbo or 1g non-turbo oil cooler for like $30? Did you tighten the filter too much?

reason 1 indicates that you need to replace your existing oil housing anyway. MachV sells 7-bolt versions that work like the '90 housing.

reason 2 is probably caused by something else. FMIC?
