Whats a good 1g downpipe?

A good bolt on is the Megan Racing 3'' down pipe. Thats what I put on my car and works great and still looks good.

I used a punishment racing downpipe. Its a full 3 inch and is dented at the flange so you can get a socket in.

I have the megan and I'm really not happy with it. I have the megan downpipe and resonator and it didn't meet up with my catback very well and It was way too low to the ground. Does the punishment downpipe hug the oil pan nicely?

I had the same question. I purchased a "name brand" downpipe for $300+ and when it arrived it was bunk, not as advertised, and was sent back. I ended up purchasing a punishment racing downpipe, because out of all the downpipes i was looking at, the punishment racing downpipe stayed 3" for the ENTIRE diameter of the downpipe. That does mean that it will be a pain to install because like was already stated, there are dents in the pipe at the o2housing for bolt clearance so they will be tough to get a wrench on when installing. Make sure you do your research as to fitment, some downpipes won't necessarily fit the stock catalytic converter, some test pipes won't fit other downpipes, or catalytic converters, so make sure you call the manufacturer and grill them about what you are planning on doing to your exhaust and if their product will play well with others. Go 3" all the way, it saves you from ever upgrading later and the price is about the same, but some 3" systems are a tight fit. So meh, in the end, do the research, and decide what will work best for you.

the dejon is nice but it only has a 2'' flange.. i think they have a 3'' flange one tho.. i hate spending 200 dollars tho .. noone does.

The Apexi N1 is decent with the cat delete, but its not a full 3" all the way through.

Megan Racing as a nice 3inch downpipe. saw it on Extreme Psi i believe around 130bucks. good luck bud

Muffler shop, can do full 3" as far back as you wanna go for fairly cheap.

The punishment racing one hugs the oil pan quite nicely i think. The bolts for the flange where the downpipe meets the O2 housing sucks, but i used a stubby wrench and a socket with a long extension and it wasn't too bad.
