I never said it was the only way! The o.p. is talking about getting link so that's what we are talking about. Butt out and again get a life guy!! No one asked you!! And last time I checked you have to wire in a map and iat sensor duh!! If you think I'm saying you have to wire in ecmlink than you obviously have no clue guy!!

Ive already paid for link and dyno tune. I'd be installing all the stuff I can the day before so that I don't mess anything up before the tune. The tune is on may 28th

Im planning on a fmic a new bov and possibly speed density. Im having injectors installed there along with a boost leak test

Your car will love you so much more if you learn how to tune it bro! It will also help keep you out of trouble when something goes fishy. Link is really not that hard to use once you get the hang of it and know what your supposed to do! Plus ecmlink wiki and forum have so much info on how to use it, you really should invest some time getting familiar with the software! Hope your dyno day goes well bro! If your not happy or something seems off after post a log for us and I'm sure we can help direct you if needed. Have a blessed day!

Thanks man. I plan to do research on learning how to fully read it at least. Anyone have an idea what kind of power I should be expecting

Im gonna second Dsmkauai and support going with Tial and sped density while you are at it. Honestly im about to order a Tial by next week since i sold my type rs greddy...Eventually at high boost you start having leak issues and the flange design with bolts is not a perfect seal. Going with Tial give you a V band clamp, tight and worry free honestly. That valve holds so much boost. Make sure you order the correct spring based on you r engine vacuum readings.
Speed density will take you very far in future tuning. The stock maf usually cant go past 52 lb.min of flow from what i remember. Ecmlink is on the way for you, you could always jump to speed density later and you can vent bov.

So I shouldn't order the tial bov until I get the tune done and have my readouts?
Thats gonna be up to you how soon you can get your parts before the 28th as you mentioned. If your going to be dyno tuned and you can get speed density installed in time, that would be great. Keep in mind that if you are dyno tuned on maf and you switch to speed density, you will need to retune again. The tial bov is preferably vented or if you order it with QR recirculation.
I would get the car dyno tuned on speed density in the car ready, you dont have a bov at all at the moment ?

Ive got the stock one and it cant handle the power. Lol. Im planning on installing all I can on the sunday before the tune ### that's my normal day off

Planning on installing fmic with new bov and speed density all at once if I can

^^ make sure to do a boost leak test to 20-25psi or atleast alittle higher than your target boost. Even though you will think you got everything perfect, I bet when you do a blt you find something LOL. But anyway its good practice to do them when messing with anything intercooler related! From what I've read the frank jr. 19c is similar to a 20g or big 16g, maybe 4-500hp depending on tune. You would need to be well over 20psi though! ;)

Im excited to switch from the side mount. Even though ive got extra wide piping for it. I shouldn't have any issues. They do a free boost leak test before the tune also. Part of why I like this place

Ya that's cool bro perfect! :) going to be a fun car bro just be carful. I lost my Illinois license a few times because of boost and the gst LOL, but man was that thing fun on the streets of Chitown!! Hahahaha china town!!! ;)

Im about to have my license in Illinois fully reinstated haha

The turbo is supposed to max out at around 380 so ive read

And cant the stock internals only handle like 420?

They will turn th e boost up as high as they can safely. Im just assuming only 20-22 LOL

What a 4g63 only handle 420hp on stock internals LOL I think not bro. You really need to research dsm's on this forum bro!!! We are talking in the 700hp range in some cases on stock bottom end!! Why do you think the 4g63 is so feared in the import community! Why peoples jaws drop when that sleeper gvr4 rolls up and smokes everyone in site LOL! http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/dra...ts-new-fastest-quickest-stock-block-4g63.html,
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/dyn...ers-ostar-motorsports-stock-block-2012-a.html

I had read on this forum that all it can handle was 420....maybe that's without any headwork. But this information changes my build greatly haha

You have heard wrong my friend!!! :) plenty of others are over the 500 mark on stock internals. Heck I took my 240k motor into the low 12's on basic mods and a small 16g flowing 37lb/min@20psi maxed out LOL and around 360-380hp! :hellyeah: :rocks: These motors can take a lot with the proper mods and tune!!

Im hoping with this tune to be around 350 or higher

I need to look more into what this turbo can handle

Still cant find any info on what this turbo can handle. Vrsf or whatever the brand intercooler kit is on back order till mid June. So I'm looking into the punishment racing kit. Heard good and bad things about it though

Found another person saying that it can only handle 350-400 hp. So ill stop around there on the dyno LOL. Just ordered the ngr bov and the pr fmic. Went with that fmic because the other was backorderd to mid june and I need one sooner than that.
