Got screwed on first palm/tring again,will this palm work??

I bought a newer model color Palm M130, For some crazy reason it will not hotsync(connect) to my laptop, I have been messing with it for 3 weeks now and I am giving up and buying another, this time I am not getting a used/Ebay one.

Radio shack has them pretty cheap it seems, but I want to be sure this one will work with the MMCD logger softwear. It runs the Palm OS and it is called the PalmOne Zire 31.

from all me searching the Palm Vx looked good too. bunch on ebay to look into.
