Hey Guys.. I just got my block back from machine shop.. .40 over weisco pistons and rings.. std crank. race bearings, balance shaft removal.. I put my arp head studs in.. now im debating which headgasket 2 buy.. I plan on running around 20psi.. also its a 7 bolt with 2nd gen rebuilt head only downfall.. I Plan on running a evo 3 Turbo???

Let me know ure expierecnes with dif brands.. Im thinking on the Felpro Kit for 77.00

The Felpro I guess is good... I bougth a Multi Layer Mitsubishi head gasket, I love the thing... running 22 PSI.. only problem is my timing belt jumped....

The Metal headgasket from mitsubishi is pretty thick and can handle a bit of boost. The stock one on a Turbo model is made of that fiber junk, that doesnt do much to create a good seal. Use ARP headstuds when locking the head to the block as well. You will get a better seal and leakage wont be an issue for your motor. Good luck man.

If you do a search, you will find that lots of people have success with the composite gasket with ARP studs. If the block was decked or checked for warpage, and the head sealing surface was resurfaced, the Mitsu MLS will do what you want, as will the stock composite headgasket with your ARP's.

Don't get the felpro gasket.

Hey Guys, Thanks for your replys.. I should get the MLS from the sounds of everyone.. Also with arps do u torque the head down just as my manual says in my chiltons? It says somthing about so many lbs and then do a 90 and then another 90? On my 1st Gen it was stepped up 2 like 70lbs or somthing...
