ok i have a 1998 eclipse gs-t with automatic, heres the scoop; i just bought this holset turbo, which is a hy35 and also got the rebuild kit for it and rebuilt it. my question is what supporting mods will i need to safely run this turbo on about 22-26 psi? my car is relitively stock, i just have 3 in turbo back, datalogger, greddy type s BOV and greddy piping(which will go cause im pretty sure ill need a FMIC). i know ill need bigger injectors, high flow fuel pump, Fmic, probally a MLS and ARP head studs, etc........ let me know if im on the right track.here are some pics of the turbo:

I would also suggest an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to manage all that fuel the new pump will be flowing, and of course a good boost controller. By the way that turbo is massive, looks good

your probably gonna want some kind of better flowing manifold/o2 housing (ported stocker or aftermarket) to get that thing spooling a little faster. Along with an exhaust side housing for that turbo :tease:

You should know better than to ask this kinda of question :nono:

Goto the Tech Guide and follow the upgrade path.

The 35 is quite a large turbo, with the map enhancement grooves it's a quicker than similar turbos at spooling and will make 550-600 to the tire at roughly 34-35 psi. This turbo will beat your stock bottom end's ass at 26 psi, with a good tune that'd be roughly 450 whp easily. Honestly more have ran this kinda power before on a stock bottom end but I don't recommend it if you depend on this car.

As far as supporting mods, I would say 255 walbro, 780cc or larger injectors, FPR, Head studs and metal headgasket, DSM link prefered, however you could get away with EPROM, a chip, and GM MAFT. After you get the car tuned, you'll start learning where your weak spots are on the car. Breaks, suspension, tranny. Check with bullseyepower.com for a turbine housing that will bolt right up.
