got a problem, just started

i changed my oil a week ago, and yesterday while waiting in a drive threw lane at local KFC, i noticed that i was smoking , i want to say blue, not a hole lot. any ways i get home, and i rev it up and hold it, and nothing. So i scratch my head, and say wth. today at my mothers before i head out and go help g/f pick up her new car, and i went to the pipe, and noticed, nothing, then a quick puff, then nothing... its driving me nuts, i heard from diffrent people that it can be the valve seals, or the turbo seal, or the rings. im going nuts here, i changed my oil from what ever was in it to a mix of mobile 1, reg and some syn, to change it over. i dont know if that was bad or not, and i put 4.5 qts in it, and it seem to over fill it. Im at a lost here, it never did it befor. any help??? thanks in advance.

will it puff for no reason, when the car is idling?
or do you get a puff after the car has been idling for a while then you gas?

if i leave it sit for awile, it will puff then stop, then a min later another small puff, i did some extensive search on google and found it could be that my T25's turbo oil seal is going and its time to ditch it. dont know yet.

Was it or humid out? You may just be paranoid.

its like between 20-35 degs here now, im in pa, and its bitchen cold out.

do a compression test, but first get the factory spec compression numbers.

if it was the rings it would do it all the time, i know that much, its in the area of the turbo, now today it did't do it, and i let it warm up completely. it might have gotten some old oil stuck and just burnt it off, but its not something im going to forget about. Im in the prosses of looking for a good used T25 with no shaft play, and im going to change the oil in about 1k miles or less.
