Goofy RPM gauge and Speedometer after 1st start!

okays so ive been driving my car for about 30 mins now im loving it... but i really gota fix my RPM gauge and speedometer...the RPM signal wants to work but it revs up really slowly and my speedometer says im going 80 when im sure im doing about 25mph. could this be because i have very little ground wires in my engine bay? FYI i have my battery relocated to the back..and i also have a alternator relocation just wondering if anything like this could cause a bad electrical issue? i just want some ideas before i take it to a shop im very good with cars but i like peoples opinions. please help if you can.

Put the ground wires back. They are there so the power can get back to the battery if the component doesn't require everything.

If you take 10 volts and only use 2, the other 8 are either going to push their way though and burn the component or the wire....

Okay, that's not how electricity works, but it's a very basic analogy.

okays yeah i figured i needed more grounds..do you happen to have a diaghram of the engine ground/electrical system?

You got a Haynes manual? They usually have them available. I have a 1g, so I don't think I could be much help ^_^;

Check your groundings as listed above, also check to make sure you don't have an OT car too. Some of the DSMS were designed for Canada and you may have the wrong speedometer (you think it's showing mph but its showing k/ph)
