Good price to run Road course/Auto X

What is a decent price to run in these events. From better to worst. Did anyone pay too much, or are you happy with the rates.

If it's your first experience on a road course, I guarantee after the first session you will feel you got your money's worth, no matter what you paid

I've seen HPDE's as low as $150 and as high as $350.

In Texas at the track I was attending, the typical rate was $180 and +$10 if you ran a timing transponder.

Autox races are normally 30-40 depending on the site. I see track days about 300-350 for 2 day events.

AutoX is usually around $40, it's a bit cheaper with an SCCA membership so if you plan on doing a few a year it's worth it.

As for track days it really varies. Sometimes you get a random lapping day for $100 at a less than great track (still fun though). For the better tracks with instruction you're talking $200+ a day. I know at Watkins Glen it's typically $260ish a day.
