Going up on PSI?

u will not get 9 Horsepower from 1 PSI, even if u have all supporting mods, u will not get near that high, i'd say 4 or 5.

So many people ask about that and get all types of different answers, the only way to tell would be a dyno run with upped PSI on the second run, but all cars are different and all cars have different mods so it will never be the same.

If i gained 9 Horsepower every 1 PSI i would have over 63 extra hosepower just by cranking up boost? think again.

Sure every car is different I just wanted an estimate not the actual value so I will take both and get a percentage from it and then go to the dyno and find out whats the hp per psi average on a stock 4g63 Thank You guys. :dsm:

why would u say something if u dont intend on being quoted about it? thats the stupidest thing i've ever heard, what is the logical point of saying something if u dont think its right? does it not say on the forum rules that when u dont know something for sure u shouldnt say it? Not only that, but what the hell do u think ur doing by saying that, ur giving the person who started this thread information, if YOU DONT think its right or u "shouldnt be quoted" on it, THEN WHY WOULD U EVEN BRING IT UP? To give him wrong information that ur just unsure of?

Dont try and insult me moron, u know nothing about me and i can read ur message perfectly fine. The point here is if u dont think ur right why would u say that? so he can go tell someone he heard from someone here that u can get 9hp for 1PSI? Not only is that incredibly wrong, but how could u even come up with that number? Have u actually even done a dyno run with a car running a certain Pressure and then upped the pressure and ran another dyno run? I gurantee on my life u havent because if u had u wouldnt be saying u GUESS that u will gain 9 WHOLE HORSEPOWER FOR 1 POUND!

Ok guys I just wanted some input here start this Internet Rambo thing again LOL Thank you both sorry to piss anyone but Oh Well!

Yea its a good idea to end it now. The last thread about this same topic got into a big type war also and ending up getting locked. Heres the link for it. Just read it carefully. You WILL NOT get the same from every turbo cuz of their flow maps. Im sure you know that. Its common sense. :talon:
