different psi for every gear lol dont know whats going on

i was gettin on my car today and trying to tune it for the track friday, well first gear shows i hit 18 psi and it holds it, 2nd hits 24 psi and it doesnt hold it, 3rd hits 26 psi and doesnt hold it, 4th hits 28 psi and it holds it to redline, fifth goes off the boost guge i guess because it maxs the gauge out at 30. All that i have done recently is fix a boost leak. I dont understand it, maybe its creeping or something but its never did that before and its a continuous drop in 2nd and 3rd gear hits 24 psi in 2nd and drops to about 19 before redline.
Anyone have any ideas?

I would check your boost line to the gauge itself and any tees off it. The gauge may be bad. You may have a wastegate sticking irratically or your BOV may be going bad as well. It could be either or both. It also sounds like you do not have your signal hosed up right and your BOV is fighting with your WG. Have all this checked out and see if any of the above is true. It is hard to say for sure by what you typed.

I would make sure your lines are right with your wastegate and boost controller. Depending on the boost controller it can lead to spikes too. Or when you mounted it you have kinks in the hoses.

everything looks good, ive had it all hooked up for the same way for the past year and a half. I did a log and it didnt show that my boost was dropping and they were the same psi level but my boost gauge did the same thing. bad boost gauge?

To me it sounds like something is wrong with the wastegate.
I looked at your profile and you have dsmlink, by any chance do you have boost by gear?

nah sure dont, how can i look to see if the wastegate is bad?

The one and only way that I know for an Evo III 16g to hold 28 psi to redline is to have straws for IC piping.
