Im going to the Baytown track on Friday. This will be my first time ever at a track. I need some tips if you can give them to me. I plan on launching my car at 3500-3700, thats what works best for me. Ive got an intake, bov, 255 fuel pump, and im boosting 16 psi. Im hoping for low 14's or high 13's if its a perfect run. Should I take out some things in my car like seats, spare tire, or do you think I shouldnt worry about it? Any tips would be great. Thanks

Take out the spare tire and tools and stuff, don't bother with the backseat as it weighs nothing anyways.

Gte there early and just watch for awhile so you know how the track works and exactly what to do.

Don't expect to much out of the T-25 esp. with it being your first time. A Low 14 would be awesome.

Yeah a good word of advice I read once was don't expect what other people are getting on your same setup your first time out. YOu have to get used to the track and the lights its a whole different world then the street. Set reasonable low goals for your first time and shoot for consistency. You'll be impressive later when you can drive like a pro and put your car in those low14's high 13's. My new car should be in the mid thirteens this summer but I'm only hoping for low 14's because I've never been to the track yet. Search around for things you can do to make a better run. Including the sticky on this forum.
