finally going to get to go to the indianapolis raceway park tonight. it will either be the best or worst night of my life.:p
best if i run like a mid 14, worst if i run like a mid 15. i've never ran my car before at a track, and im real interested in what it can do with my current mods. wish me luck!:D

good luck man... try not to break anything! I'm going tomorrow to run my car for the 1st time too

indeed good luck! I will be going for the first time this summer, I know im gonna embarrass myself but oh well. gotta learn somehow.

I'm guessing a mid 15 for your first time. You might get a very high 14 or low 15 if you keep at it. No exhaust yet? Have fun, I'm yet to experience my first track 1/4.

Do you guys think cops go to tracks and watch to see whose cars are fast? Then in turn look out for them on the street?

No way, cops don't take it that personal, at least I've yet to see one do that. I've seen cops from my area at the track I used to goto, and they used to cheer me on...

I don't see why they would do that. You would think that they would be happy to see that you are racing at the track instead of on the street.

when my car had basically those same mods maybe alittle less the best i ever ran was a 14.9 last year. i'm hoping of touching the 13's this year maybe w/ some help of some drag radials. don't get disapointed if your run isn't great i've heard the track has been pretty cold the last few weeks at the IRP. There was a indiana dsm meet last weekend there was a turnout of alittle over 20 cars about 10 of the cars went down to the southside and cruized around 31 for awhile.

Too much Xfiles. :p

Stock is around 15.1. If its your first time ever, it may help to just watch this time. Getting the feel for the strip is very important. You don't want to absorb too much and bonk at the line and run an 18. I was just at the track and got to see a 4.6 second Top Fuel dragster run a trap at 312mph. And I thought my car was fast.

Happy Draggin',

LOL... been there, done that! I lost to a mustang 5.0 once and was really pissed because i messed up the launch. I launched at 3.7k instead of 5k.
