That's right i'm finally going to give the track thing a try, my friends where telling me that it's really fun. It's only a 1/8th mile track, so i was wondering what all should i do to get ready before gettin on the track tonight? I already took out the back seats.

Hey man why don't ya just leave your seats and everything in so you will know EXACTLY what you would run on the street with your everyday set up. Also if you are planning on running certain classes make sure and check with them to see you have to run a full interior, if not you will be disqualified with your back seats missing. Make sure and check your oil, plugs, radiator fluid just basic fluid stuff. Also make sure that you aren't leaking any fluids because you won't be allowed to run if you do. Also have fun goin to the track is great :thumb: you WILL get addicted especially after you have a few bad runs and get mad at yourself and wanna make sure you do better. I mean come on we can ALWAYS go faster :sneaky: :rocks:

yeah.. go early and make sure you walk or get a good look at the shut down area, where you turn off the track onto the return road, make sure you know the speed limit on the return road and how to get back to the staging area...

And jsut walk up to the lights and see what it looks like siting at the beams from about where the car is so you don't accidentally overrun them in excitement.

Well i went to the track after all and ran, but not sure if my runs where good for the mods i have. It was a 1/8th mile track, my worst run was 11.37, my best run was 10.99. I'm I suppose to run better timing then this. My car is a A/T GST.

I ran my 91 GST for the first time at the track tonight. Its completely stock with and exhaust leak and I pulled a 10.075 in the 8th and finished the 1/4 @ 15.456 at 90MPH.

Not sure what you should be getting in an auto, I'm a 5 speed.

I'd deffinatley check the track rules to see if everything is ok to run your car. The track by me wont allow you to run if your FPR is mounted to the firewall, or if you have certain types of liquid filled gauges (such as an oil pressure gauge) running into your car.
