So I have found many posts and arguments on which is better but I would like to know If I could go from 100% to 50/50 without a full dyno tune. Currently tuned on 94 octane and 100% meth injection. I live in Victoria and there is not an awd dyno here. Could I get a street tune on 50/50 without any problems?

If no-one who knows better replies, I'd say that, unless you were tuned to the edge on 100% methanol, you could probably go to 50/50 (windshield-wiper fluid) without any changes at all.

It's hard to say if you will or not need a retune as that depends highly on the state of your current tune and setup. More than likely it would need to be touched up for sure, in my opinion.

In a nutshell, if your setup is octane limited than 100% meth will be able to make more power. If you are just trying to max out a non octane limited setup than 50/50 will be more beneficial, practical and make more improvements over a wider range of temepratures, as water and methanol actually complement each other. Also, contrary to what some people believe water doesn't displace effective octane.

Street tune should be fine, but I'd definitely make sure you're not knocking after you change the mix. I know when I changed my mix to more meth instead of 50/50, I was able to get a bit more out of it, but like they said, it depends on your current setup/tune.
