GM Synchromesh = ACDelco Synchromesh??

Since ACDelco Synchromesh is the only thing i can find here from GM.
does that means ACDelco Synchromesh is same as GM Synchromesh???

Yes, it is the same and it is also the same as the penzoil syncromesh(they make it for gm). If you have an autozone around you, the penzoil is less than half the price of the gm, and is usually in stock.

Thx, yeah...there is no autozone here....can't find penzoil syncromesh...so GM is pretty much the only place for me

How does that Pennzoil stuff work? Good? So/so?

Everyone used to be all about Redline, BM, and all those expensive fluids but when I was picking up my tranny from TRE, I noticed they just use that cheap ol yellow bottle Pennzoil stuff too.

The owner of TRE was like ya all that synthetic crap is a waste or money and does nothing. Just make sure you get GL4 for the tranny and GL5 for the rear and change it when its time and you will never have problems. Said syn for the engine yes, but not for the tranny.

I'm just wondering who agree's? I still need to buy my fluid as I'm about to install my tranny.
