Hello. i have a 1992 AWD Eagle talon.

I installed a GM Maft and need help setting it up.

I have a 3.5in Gm maf with a rev 1.6 Translator. and 560cc injectors. 16g turbo. 255walboro fuel pump. deleted Evap. SafcII. front mount. everything elsis pretty much stock.

Right now i have all the dip switches off. and everything set to 0. And when i drive the car everything is fine untill i hit about 5000 rpm and the car starts bucking out. with 10psi boost. Sitting still not in gear its fine. but while moving it will happen.

With a 3.5" mas you are supposed to have dip switch 1 flipped up. Set your base knob to setting 4 for 550s. As for the rest, id set them to 0. Personally, i wouldnt have swapped injectors until you got a wideband.

I would. Just my opinion based on experience, but id take those piggybacks out along with injectors until you get a wideband. I was running with just a maft and no wideband and leaned it out too much. It felt faster, but burned my plugs, my turbine was pink, and id hate to see my valves

The Translator i have in it, was made for a 2g, and i wired it in my 1g, would that have anything to do with it?

My bad the translator is rev 1.6

You definetly need a wideband. You are probably running pig rich. When is the last time you did a boost leak test?
Also i believe mitsu underated the 560cc injectors. They flow more then what they say and are a little difficult to dial in especially since you dont have a wideband. Last, as already stated you are supposed to have the dip switch for the 3.5 MAF flipped.

ok. ill work on getting a wideband. i corrected the dip switch. all the seals was recently redone

I don't know if you've heard this or not yet, but ditch the SAFC and get Link. I didn't believe in it until I used it for the first time, but dsmlink is very easy to use, and very effective. It might seem like a huge investment, but it's worth every penny.

And yes, get a wideband ASAP.
