GM MAF- purple wire?

I just recieved my GM maf in the mail. I know I need to tap the white wire for the rpm signal, but their is also a purple wire that comes off the translator that needs to be tapped in somewhere, but the directions don't say where. Any ideas or is this wire not used or something?

The purple wire is for aux activation of nos, water injection, etc. It doesnt have to be hooked up.
