okay so a little backstory so far.

Anyway my car started to get slower and slowly losing boost over time and every once in a would just start missfiring.(po300 code would come up everytime) so i decided i would do a BLT and found that my shaft seals were completly shot as well as the vac hoses coming off the throttlebody.

So i remove the TB and replace the seals and run all new vacuum lines reinstall everything do a leak test and its definatly better than before but some new issues arose out of all of this. which i highlighted in this thread. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/291175-shaft-seals-now-stalling.html

anyway i decided to do another boost leak test this time with a soapy water solution instead of just listening for leaks and found something rather interesting.

It is a 3" gm maf that i picked up from the local autowreckers and its leaking right from where that small bubble shows up in the first picture (inbetween the metal and plastic halve) it also continues to leak as low as 5psi but it cannot be heard at all.

Now would this cause my po300 and backfiring issue.

So did you clear your codes after fixing all of the other boost leaks? It would be best to just let the ECU tell you if it's causing a misfire.

well the thing is a created a bunch more leaks when i removed the TB the second time that im in the process of fixing up but im almost positive these leaks where not there before. (ISC oring is leaking because i removed it from the TB to check it, tb elbow gasket is leaking from the backside now since i removed the TB and the vac hoses that i pulled off are also leaking now since i pulled them off. so i have to pull the elbow off again and apply some RTV to the gasket i guess. So really there is no point in starting the car untill i get these issues fixed up. Like i said im almost positive these leaks where not present the last time i had the car running.

Yes i would clear the code immediately after i read it to see how frequently it would pop up. AS well im just waiting on the RTV to dry before i do another test.

Also would anybody know what size O-ring is used on the ISC motor in the TB?
