gm maf cable question

Ok i have a gm maf cabke from my 1g. now my question is how can i make it work in my 2g. i have a spare 2g maf now so i can use the plug from it but how would i wire it up? Well more what wire will go where or is it even possible to change it to a 2g maf cable?

Yeah i wasnt sure that would be the same xoncetp tho. tho it is very simmular i just wanted more definate clearifaction.
