Ok I have a 1g gm maf cable but no longer havea 1g. I now have a 2g and a bad maf. I took the bad maf apart for the connector piece. How can i wire it to the connector so i can use the gm maf in my 2g? If anyone had a good wiring diagram for this let me know i would greatly appreciate it. thanks ahead of time.

What version of the maft are you using? The older versions are 1g/2g specific. But if its the latest version then it has both generations software on the chip and can be used. You can easily buy an adapter cable on ebay.

Sorry i should of been more clear. i have ecm link v3 full. but i had the gm maf cable in my 1g but wanna tranfer it to my 2g and all i wanna do it change the connector on the maf cable to a 2g. i have thr parts to do so and dont want to have to buy a new cable

Ok I researched best i could and think I came up with the right wiring. But i could be completly off since I dont know what wire means what on the gm maf cable. heres pictures of the 1g gm maf cable end and then the 2g plug soldered on. the 2g plug is off a bad 2g maf so i desided to use it. Hopefully someone can correct me if its wired wrong.
