I have heard good things about the GM maf with translator. What exactly can you do with this setup? I heard you can adjust your air fuel settings. I don't know if I should do this or get an afc. :confused:
 
yes you can adjust your fuel but i heard not as easy as you can with the safc .... you can also vent your bov to the atmosphere without having any problems
 
I know that it provides much more airflow than just an SAFC can do - because it gives you the 3" or 3.5" intake to the turbo, making you be able to spool up a lot earlier. The gains in that alone make it worthwhile I think. I *want one* so bad, but haven't had the cash for all the parts (MAF, MAFT, New IC Pipe for Blowthrough, New filter, etc..)
 
Like the others said, you of course can vent your BOV to the atmosphere, but thats kinda missing the point. The GM mas air flow sensor depending on the size you buy will flow about 8x the amount of air a stock 1g will.
