Hey guys.
The past few days have been pretty strange with my car. I went to start it up and heard a vibration\rapid clicking behind my head unit by the ecu, but it did crank and started with a slight grinding noise as if the starter gear didnt disengage (which is unusual). I drove it around and everything was fine. After about 20 minutes i heard some more clicking by my ecu and the car started kind of jumping and stuttering. the engine light would flash everytime this happened, im assuming its the EFI or MPI relay clicking over and cutting fuel.
If i was in neutral when this happened the car would die. If in gear it would jump around. I also noticed this only seem to happen when i hit a bump or railroad tracks. When on a smooth road it seemed fine. When i was approching home, the lights and everything started dimming and the RPMs when idling\neutral was about 300. The next day went to go start it and got absolutley NOTHING!
no dash lights, no click, no headlights, no power.
Started at the battery of course. 12.5 volts at the terminal connectors. Checked the fusebox under the hood in front of the battery and they are fine. Inside the car they are fine. i have continuity in my ignition switch. The ecu has been replaced via recall. I had the alternator tested and its fine. Anyone have any ideas? It seems maybe like a fusible link or something of that nature. But i cant find any fusible links anywhere from the battery. Any help would be appreciated thanks!
