I would just like to say I know a goodamount about dsms but I would like to learn more.i have a90 eclipse gsx not crank condition cas is not getting power. I need a starting poin:Dt thank youu

You can start by following the grammar rule; more people will be able to help if they can understand you.

Sorry about the grammar. When I say no crank that means the starter is not spinning but it is getting power to it. I rebuilt my trans and after I put it back in thats when the problems started. I let it sit for aweek due to work. I turned the key main relay clicks but that's it. I even tried a known good ecu and still the same outcome. The red wire coming off the cas is not getting voltage im thinking the wire might have a break in it..

Okau now who knows exactly where that wire ends up?i have a haynes manual but its not helping me LOL

You r&r'd the transmission and now the starter won't turn it over. Check the starter wiring, you probably didn't hook it up right.

im not a retard.the starter is connected properly if you jump the s terminal the starter spins. What else can I check? I've heard from a dsm owner that if the cas is not getting power that it will not crank can anyone verify?

The engine will crank with no cas or ecu. The starter circuit is separate from those circuits.

Okay then the problem lies in my starter circuit. Thanks for all the help guys:thumb: I'm going to check that once I get home ill keep you posted

Alright gentlemen I jumped the s terminal on my starter and I got some life out of the starter. It didn't turn the motor mover due to the almost dead battery I have. This car had akillswitch that the previous owner installed and I removed it.I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that out was word into the starter circuit. Has anyone ever traced that wire?

The starter relay is behind the radio. Clicking relays usually mean a dead battery or bad connection at the battery terminals. Charge the battery before doing anything else.

Okay yeah they are clicking. I need a new one I get paid tomorrow so ill post up my findings

The relay right by the ecu that would be the starter relay correct?
