Traction isn't plentiful for a 700hp car when track temps are below freezing.

We might get some passes in by July if this bullshit weather keeps up.

So far sunday looks descent, 60° at the track, but 30% chance of rain. So hopefully the rain holds off, and I can get some passes in!

Weather is still cold over here too, Dave. I threw 93 oct in the car because its easier to start than E85 in this weather. Havent even dialed in WOT. Probably wont until it gets nicer and I put E85 back in the car. ha!

Track temps will still be pretty damn cold this weekend though Im sure.

Snowed 3" at Dave's house last night.

We didn't get the snow here, but it rained like hell for a solid 5 hours. No chance of racing even if it stopped raining a day early with that much water on the ground.

Are you racing at the IFO event at Maple Grove on April 6th?

Dave if you are interested I know of a track rental April 12th At mason dixon. Its 4 hour rental prepay of 50 and like 75 or so at the gate. I talked to my buddy and he said its all good. As of right know i think there is around 30 cars racing. Every year they talk about making 20+ passes without hot lapping. The date may change as not very many people had pre-payed but if you want more info pm me and we can talk more.

I have trouble running at mason dixon, they are a nhra track, and I only have my ihra license. They barely let me run in November for the ecm meet. If they would remember me, I doubt they'll let me run.
Going to try for opening day at prp this Saturday!

They actually cancelled the event. Originally MG was going to move their spring flea market date, but decided not to. Bummer!

Oh I'm confident it'll run an 8 as-is with the 60mm turbo on if he can cut a good 60ft...once the new turbo's on the car, it should run an 8 every pass.

Once he gets bored going 8's, we'll throw some different turbos on just to see what they're capable of. I've had a factory billet 7-blade HX35 sitting on the shelf almost 2 years now just waiting to go 9's...

It's not a HX52, but it is still a Holset in a T3 flange.

I think you stole my idea of a 67/88 garrett compressor on the hx40 turbine. The hx40 turbine is actually pretty big Shit i might so tempting. Just a little bore and compressor machining and good to go. Assming it has the meat.
