Tomorrow I am picking up my new car. It is a 96 Talon Tsi awd, it has 36k miles on it and is in awsome condition. The thing thats goin to be a pain is taking everything out of my old talon and putting it in the new one. I have one question though, when i put the 16g what will be different because i didnt install my 16g on my old car. For example the oil in line to the turbo goes right to where the valve cover is but there in no oil in line where I need to put it but the bolt is there. Do I just undo the bolt and hook up the oil line? and also are the coolant feed lines different? Thanks for the help guys.
I was SOO close to not getting it too. When i saw it i pulled over and the guy said that some guy was buying it for his daughter (Poor DSM) . So i stayed in touch with him for about 2 days and he called me back and said that she didnt like the car and wanted a honda
. Im picking it up tomorrow, I took a look under the oil cap and it was really clean Im sure the guy that owned it before got the oil changed every 3k miles. Its an auto but i dont really mind because my current talon is an auto too. Im getting a translab shift kit and end clutch installed hopefully by the end of fall. Im not goining to drive it in the winter. There is no dents that i have seen and the interior is near spotless. The valve cover isnt leaking oil or anything. The belts look new and the good thing is the car is complete stock, im glad too because i wanna do everything right on this car. It should take me a few days to convert everything from one car to the other though.
