ECMlink Getting 1G DSMLink to connect?

Could anyone possibly tell me what I’m doing wrong? Downloaded it and every-time I plug it in It says “Port Does Not Exist” I’m fairly new to this and I’m sure there is something I’m missing or doing wrong. I’m just trying to record logs to share on here for help.

I assume you need to install the drivers for the cable as well.

Been having trouble getting mine to connect for the first time as well so commenting for advice. Ports config'd correctly, and tried two different laptops.
Cable light blinks twice. Mine goes
COM3: No response received!
COM3: Trying to connect
COM3: Port is in use by app 'ecmlink'
COM3: Trying to connect
COM3: No response received!

Just figured out my issue. I had to twist the obd2 port counterclockwise with the ecmlink cable attached when trying to connect the car.

You probably need to clean and check all of the terminals on your OBD port for a good connection. It may just be dirty.
