So I was driving home today, and cruising down to a stop, all of a sudden I see white smoke coming from the engine and then my clutch starts acting up and my car stalls. I turn it back on, and I cannot put it in any gear. The clutch will make this rattling noise kind of, hard to describe, when pressed, but I cannot push it in all the way down, it stops about halfway and just rattles. I push it home and POP the hood but I cannot seem to find where the smoke came from, I did notice a vacuum line disconnected from the egr, put it back on, I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with my engament issue. I replaced the master cylinder last month. anybody have any ideas what could be wrong. Thanks

Pull your transmission.

Yea...that sounds kind of hard. I'm going to tow it to a shop today, and I'll see what they find. I'll keep you guys informed

So I found out that my clutch is in pieces and that their is a nice size hole in my transmission housing. I haven't seen it yet, I'm going tomorrow to take a look at it. My question is, anything else that might be messed? maybe the flywheel? just so that their is no more surprises tomorrow.

When the clutch was removed, the disk came out in pieces, the shop wanted 700 for an oem one, I was like screw that. I went to rre and bought a new act 2100. Well there's also a whole in my bell housing, I found a new one and bought it already. The last thing is that the friction plate on my flywheel is warped, and can't seemed to find a new one. Anybody know where I can get one? I email fidanza last week, but I haven't heard from them since.

You can purchase them nearly anywhere online for cheap. How many bolt holes are attaching your Fidanza friction plate to the flywheel?

The 20-bolt version is #229001-20 and is around $55 from ExtremePSI.
The 18-bolt newer version is #229001 and is around $42 from MAPerformance.

Thanks for your help, I got an email back from fidanza, and I have a friction plate on the way. It was 20 bolt BTW
