i have bought another car now i have a 96 gst manual and the gear mounting is broken can you let me know what could happen if i dont change it ....... i cant find spare parts for my car here and i have to wait for a while ..... please let me know if any damage can happen ? also when shiffting from 1st to second i feel that it takes time to engage.

Dont drive it hard untill u get that mount replaced or the other mounts will wear out or break a lot quicker.

If u have to almost let out the clutch pedal to get it to grip then your clutch could be worn out, if not and u are just having trouble shifting into gears then it could be ## transmission. Check the cables on the transmission if they are loose and the clutch fluid if it's top off.
