Hey, So I have a slight problem on my hands and need some expert advice. I bought a 91 AWD parts car with the hopes of using the transmission and I just found out today that the motor mount broke the casing where the bolts attach. (Hard to explain but I hope you get the idea). Anyway I am wondering what my options are to fix the tranny casing. My dads idea is to get someone to weld a peice back on and drill and tap it so that I can just bolt it right up. Now my idea (Tell me if this will work) is to get two studs and get them welded inplace of where the bolts originally attached to the transmission, from there I will instead of screwing the bolts into the tranny, I will just put a nut from the top of the motor mount and lock it down. Which would be better, if either. Any options are welcome, thanks in advance for the help.
