gauges stop working...

Sometimes while driving (or as soon as i start the car) the power in the gauges goes out, then back on, then out etc. The power windows also stop working when this happens. I also notice the SRS light on every now and then... what's going on?! The interior/exterior lights as well as the stereo always work, but the actually RPM functioning and speedometer stop reading, as well as the power windows stop working. Any ideas/help?

Sounds like a loose fuse under the dash. When it happens again try to tap on the fuse panel and see if that works. If it does then just take a small screw driver and bend out the tab that the fuse connect to so more pressure is applied. I'm not 100% sure that the fuse controlls the entire instrument panel, So pull out the fuse that controlls the windows and see if the guages work. Unplug the battery if you decide to bend out the fuse tab.
